I participated in a Women in STEM webinar, a series long event hosted by IGNITE Worldwide sponsored by Amgen. The audience consisted of girls ranging from 6 to 18 year olds. During the Q&A portion of this webinar, something new happened that I’ve never experienced before…no one interrupted each other. The six of us were complete strangers up until 15 minutes prior to the start. We got a quick rundown of how the webinar would be structured: each of us would be given 2–3 minutes to speak, and the rest of the time would be allotted to Q&A.
